What can you expect to receive

When you sign up for newsletters and text message service from KOMBARDO EXPRESSEN, you give your consent for Molslinjen A/S as the operator of the KOMBARDO EXPRESSEN news service, website and apps, to use your email address and mobile phone number to send you messages about our routes. These may include the following:

Email:

When you provide your email address, you consent to receive:

- Newsletters by email with news, offers, campaigns, competitions and other information, such as possible options for discounts elsewhere on presentation of your KOMBARDO EXPRESSEN ticket.

- Service emails, including welcome emails, reminders, emails about products and categories for which you have shown particular interest.

- Targeted messages via Facebook, including news, offers and competitions.

- In addition, we send behaviour-based announcements, such as unfinished bookings, product information and other targeted service announcements. We will regularly add further service emails to this service, to which you must also give your consent.

If, in the future, we add other relevant products and partners, we are entitled to use this consent to notify you and to ask you whether you wish to update your consent or any data about you.

Text message:

When you provide your mobile phone number, you consent to receive:

- Text messages with offers and campaigns, news and competitions.

- Service announcements concerning your consent and/or profile, your email address and purchasing history.

- In addition, we send behaviour-based service announcements, for example regarding product information and other service announcements. We will regularly add further service text messages to this service, to which you must also give your consent.

Your data

When you sign up, you provide a range of details about you and your interests. We make active use of these details to send you more relevant and targeted information. The following examples give an idea of how individual details are used (in addition to name and email address/mobile number):

Postcode is used for geographical grouping of our newsletters and text messages, as well as to sort messages and offers according to relevance in relation to your place of residence.

Purpose of travel is used to send you information about products and offers and to put together offers best suited to this specific type of trip.

Name will be used to improve the quality of our correspondence with you.

Purchasing and travel history will be used to send you information about other products of potential interest to you, and to give you the opportunity to purchase products you have previously purchased and related goods based on previous purchases.

Cookie-based history of browsing behaviour is used to provide personal recommendations and for service announcements.

Unsubscribing

If you no longer wish to receive the different email messages and other forms of direct communication from KOMBARDO EXPRESSEN, you can always unsubscribe. You can unsubscribe from each type of email separately by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of all emails or by writing to kombardo@kombardoexpressen.dk. Please note that it may take up to 48 hours from clicking the unsubscribe link before the cancellation takes effect in all of our systems.

Personal data

MOLSLINJEN A/S stores your subscription to the KOMBARDO EXPRESSEN newsletter and text message service as well as the information you provide when you sign up and when you update your profile, e.g. in connection with competitions. Molslinjen A/S also registers available information about your purchases. We use these details to ensure that the information we send you is best targeted to you. These data are solely used for marketing purposes and service announcements and are never forwarded to third parties without your consent.

You may request access to the personal data we have registered about you at any time and ask for them to be deleted or corrected if they are inaccurate or you would like us to delete them.

Personal data collected from you are only used for the purposes for which they have been collected, unless we ask for your prior consent for us to use the data for other purposes prior to such use. We collect information about you and your interests on our websites and our apps for our own use. We do this both actively and passively. With regard to your digital behaviour, we use third party tools to track and trace your behaviour on the websites and other media owned by us, e.g. our apps.

We may be forced to forward personal data collected from you due to legal requirements, e.g. in connection with a court order or subpoena or in response to a specific request from a public authority.

The appeals authority in Denmark is the Danish Data Protection Agency.

General

These conditions apply to kombardoexpressen.dk and all websites, apps and other sales channels owned and/or managed by Molslinjen A/S. Molslinjen A/S has a duty to protect your personal data online pursuant to the Danish Act on the Processing of Personal Data.

Amendments may be made to these conditions regularly, without additional consent from you. You should therefore remember to read through the conditions at regular intervals. You are welcome to contact molslinjen@molslinjen.dk if you have any questions regarding your personal data.

Terms and conditions for competitions at Molslinjen A/S

The data you provide in connection with competitions on any of Molslinjen A/S's websites, including kombardoexpresssen.dk, are stored and used in the same way and for the same purpose as specified above, and for the purpose of contacting the winners.
